Rosemary Mugadza, the Zimbabwe women's soccer team head coach has expressed satisfaction with the 3-week period the Mighty Warriors will have in gearing up for their crucial All Africa Games qualifier with Angola at the end of this month.
In a buoyant mood as she watched her charges go through their paces at Barclays Sports Club on Tuesday morning, Mugadza expressed pleasure in the progress made by the Zimbabwe women's team after assembling for camp on Sunday.
After registering a convincing 4-1 aggregate victory over Zambia in the last phase of qualifiers, the Mighty Warriors now have their eyes firmly fixed on making a qualification at the All Africa games pencilled for Mozambique in September.
The Zimbabwe women's 31-member squad, which boasts of impressive upcoming talents such as Younis Chibanda and Emmaculate Musikwa, is however set to leave for Hwange on Sunday for a two-week training camp in a bid to acclimatise to hot conditions ahead of their first leg trip to Angola at the end of the month.
A victory over Angola in the two legs would see the Mighty Warriors securing a berth at the All Africa Games set for September.
