THERE is no respite in the Dynamos casualty ward as influential captain Murape Murape joins the injury list and will not be available for the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against Shabanie Mine at Maglas this afternoon.

Murape, who always plays a leading role in the team, has been ruled out of the match because of a hamstring injury he picked up on Sunday during the Champions League match against CA Bizertin of Tunisia.

DeMbare won the second leg of the first round tie 1-0 but crashed out of the tournament on a 3-1 aggregate defeat.

They now turn their focus to the defence of their title on the domestic front but coach Callisto Pasuwa yesterday lamented the spate of injuries in their camp as Murape becomes the fifth player on the sidelines.

The veteran midfielder could not finish the match on Sunday as he was substituted in the 78th minute and joins striker Francisco Zekumbawira, Stephen Alimenda, Clive Kawinga and former Gunners defender Byron Madzokere on the injury list.

DeMbare are seeking to get their campaign back on the right tracks after dropping points in their drawn opening matches against Black Mambas and Chicken Inn.

Pasuwa yesterday said they were aiming for their first victory to set them on the recovery path and keep pace with rivals Highlanders and FC Platinum who have made a flying start after winning all their three games.

Currently DeMbare have two points, from two matches, while Shabanie Mine are still winless.

The asbestos miners, who are under the guidance of Arnold Jani, currently anchor the table as they have lost their first two matches against Highlanders (2-0) and Triangle (3-0).

Pasuwa, however, indicated they will not take the hosts lightly.

The match will be beamed live on SuperSport 9.

DeMbare made slight changes to the squad that was involved in Sunday's Champions League match as strikers Patrick Khumbula, Washington Pakamisa and Allan Tavarwisa come in to beef up the side.

DeMbare had only one natural striker on Sunday, prompting the technical team to use a makeshift pairing of Farai Mupasiri and Boban Zirintusa which struggled in front of goal.

Pasuwa is likely to make changes in the department today as they seek goals to give them the maximum points.

Dynamos have also included their juniors' graduate Tawanda Chokuwamba in the 18-man squad that travelled to Zvishavane.

However, DeMbare were forced to make slight changes to the team that played on Sunday by dropping Sydney Linyama despite the former Chicken Inn man showing good form in his first game last Sunday.

Linyama fared well in central defence with Augustine Mbara but he is not available for domestic matches as he is yet to be cleared by former club Chicken Inn.

The Bulawayo side insist that the Glamour Boys should pay up a US$15 000 cash instalment for the player's services. DeMbare are facing the same predicament on Morris Kadzola, goalkeeper Tatenda Mukuruva and highly-rated Congolese international Jeremy Mumbere.

Motor Action are demanding that they clear the outstanding dues from the previous deal that involved winger William Kupera before they can release the player.

Log leaders FC Platinum will also be in action tomorrow as their Week Four match against Chicken Inn was brought forward to allow live broadcast.

The SuperSport outside broadcast van will stay overnight in the mining town before travelling to Bulawayo for the weekend match between Highlanders and Motor Action at Barbourfields on Sunday.
