Warriors plummet in the Fifa rankings

THE Zimbabwe Warriors dropped four places on the world stage and one place on the African continent despite not kicking a ball in the period under review.
According to the Fifa/Coca-Cola world rankings released in Zurich, Switzerland, Warriors moved to 105, down from 101 in the last rankings while they find themselves the 29th best team on the continent.

There have been no major movements globally, with Spain maintaining their stranglehold as the best ranked team in the world with 1 538 points.
The rest of the top 10 remains unchanged as Germany, Argentina, Croatia, Portugal, Colombia, England, Italy, Netherlands and Ecuador comple the list.
According to FIFA's website, the only movement within the top 20 are Switzerland (14th) and Belgium (15th), who have both climbed one place, overtaking Mexico (16th).
