According to KickOff, Zimbabwe international Knowledge Musona is a wanted man back at South African football champions Kaizer Chiefs as the marksman starts preparations today for the Warriors 2014 World Cup qualifier against Egypt set for Sunday.
Reports emanating from South Africa yesterday indicate that Chiefs are still in love with their player, who returns to Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim after a loan spell at FC Augsburg.
He has endured a difficult period during his stay in Germany, fuelling speculation he might make a return to South Africa.
According to Kick Off, Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby "Bob Steak" Motaung said they would welcome the Zimbabwean striker back to the club.
"He is my baby. I would love to have him back, but unfortunately he is contracted to a German team. He is in Europe where it is high-level, but if he is available I will definitely have him back," Bob Steak said.
Musona is, however, understood to be still keen to continue his career in Europe.
The Warriors chief striker is already in the country as Zimbabwe prepares for the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Egypt at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Warriors went into camp last night and are expected to start training this morning for the clash against the Pharaohs.
