Nyasha Mushekwi will definitely be leaving Mamelodi Sundowns, with Belgian Pro League club KAA Gent leading the list of clubs - which includes five South African Premier Soccer League teams - after his services.
KickOff.com revealed that talks are already going on between Sundowns and Gent over the services of Mushekwi.
SuperSport United, Bidvest Wits, Moroka Swallows, Bloemfontein Celtic and another unnamed Gauteng club have already approached The Brazilians and are making frenetic efforts to lure him following revelations that Sundowns are willing to cash in on their big striker.
Of all the five local clubs that have been in touch with Sundowns, the 25-year-old is only interested in joining only one of them.
However, Mushekwi's priority is Europe, with the Tshwane-based side also apparently preferring to sell him abroad instead of locally.
The sticky point at this stage is that Downs seem to still value Mushekwi from his first two seasons at the club when he scored 34 goals, rather than his current worth that is in line with the fact that he wasn't a regular during the past season.
In the meantime, Mushekwi is sweating it out in the gym in anticipation of his move away from Chloorkop.
Mushekwi, who has spent three years at Sundowns since arriving from Caps United in Zimbabwe, recently extended his contract with Sundowns for another year.
