Mamelodi Sundowns striker Nyasha Mushekwi and his agent - Ralph Nkomo - will depart for Europe this week for talks with an "interested" club over a possible transfer.
Nkomo has in the past told KickOff.com that clubs from Germany and Belgium have shown interest in the Zimbabwean striker.
However, while he could not be drawn to reveal the identity of the club interested, Nkomo remains confident the striker will make the grade.
"Nyasha is due to get his visa on Tuesday (today) so I will be travelling with him to Europe this week. He is a good football player with a good football mind, but everything will depend on whether or not the team agrees with Sundowns," Nkomo says.
"The club is interested and he will be assessed for fitness by the club while the terms of a possible contract will also be discussed.
We will be in a position to give more details when something concrete is agreed upon between the two parties," he adds.
Mushekwi's previous attempts to sign with Bundesliga club Greuther Furth hit a brick wall after the club pointed out they were not given enough time to assess him.
Sundowns, on the other hand, pointed out they would only release the player if a "serious" offer is put on the table.
Mushekwi achieved one of his best seasons with Sundowns during the 2011/12 campaign - scoring nine League goals in 17 starts.
He was also named Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament during the same campaign.
Still at Chloorkop, Raymond Monama and Tiyani Mabunda have completed their move to Mamelodi Sundowns from relegated Black Leopards.
KickOff.com broke the news at the beginning of June, and now the pair signed three-year contracts with the Brazilians on Saturday.
Mabunda and Monama will join their former Leopards teammate Rodney Ramagalela, who also signed a three-year deal with Sundowns last Wednesday.
The trio, who initially rejected Sundowns' salary offer, are expected to join Sundowns for the start of pre-season training at Chloorkop on Monday.
"The deal for Monama and Mabunda is done and dusted after they signed on the dotted line on Saturday," our source at Chloorkop reveals.
"Both of them have signed a three-year contract plus a two-year option. They will start training with the club on Monday."
Meanwhile, there is still uncertainty regarding the future of star winger, Zimbabwean Khama Billiat, who is reportedly wanted by both Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
