Chicken Inn, Highlanders draw (1 - 1)

BULAWAYO - Chicken Inn and Highlanders played out a 1-1 draw in apulsating Castle Premiership match at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.
The game kicked off to a blistering start with both sides searching for an early opener but it was the hosts who went ahead after six minutes when Kuda Mahachi opened the scoring off a Brian Mbiriri cross.
Highlanders equalised after 24 minutes through Milton Ncube after a good build up.
Action has continued to swing from one end to the other but Highlanders have had more opportunities towards the break.
The tempo of the match however slowed down in the second half as the two teams failed to create any more scoring opportunities.
Bosso dropped to third place on the log with 31 points, three behind leaders Harare City while Chicken Inn dropped to fourth with the same number of points.
Defending champions, Dynamos moved into second place with a hard fought 1-0 win over Buffaloes at Rufaro Stadium.
Defender Augustine Mbara scored the only goal of the match in the 59th minute to move the Glamour Boys level on points with Bosso and Chicken Inn.
DeMbare, however, have a better goal difference than the two.
At Maglas Stadium in Zvishavane, Shabanie bounced back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Black Mambas courtesy of Pervington Zimunya's penalty and an own goal from Paul Marizenya.
At the Colliery, Hwange were held to a 1-1 draw by a resurgent CAPS United.
Gilbert Zulu gave the coalminers a 1-0 halftime lead but Tawanda Nyamandwe levelled scores for United in the second half.
