Dembare takes legal action against fraudsters

Dynamos Football Club on Thursday said it has taken taking legal action against certain individuals who "opened and are operating bank accounts under the name Dynamos Football Club Supporters Association without its authority," Zimbabwe Focus reported.

PRESS STATEMENT FROM DYNAMOS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Dynamos Football Club (Pvt) Ltd is concerned by the realization that certain indiviuduals have opened and are operating bank accounts under the name Dynamos Football Club Supporters Association without its authority.

Members of the public are hereby advised that Dynamos Football Club (Pvt) Ltd has no register of supporters at the moment and therefore does not have any connection with the aforesaid individuals together with their activities.

Further it has also come to the attention of DFC (pvt) Ltd that certain companies and individuals are selling Dynamos FC regalia without its authority. These actions of the aforesaid individuals and companies are clearly being perpetrated in violation of the trademark Dynamos FC (Pvt) Ltd.

Meanwhile DFC is taking legal advice with a view to procuring an interdict against the illegal use of its name as aforesaid.
