Dynamos does it again

Dynamos have retained the Premier Soccer League title after beating Black Mambas 2-nil to pip Harare City and Highlanders to the crown on goal difference.

Harare City, who needed a win against Caps United to secure a maiden premiership crown, blew the opportunity away after being held to a 2-all draw at the National Sports Stadium.

Dynamos had to thank a spirited performance from perenial rivals, Caps United, who even threatened to tear City apart, but then settled for a draw to hand DeMbare the title on goal difference.

DeMbare, City and Highlanders all finished on 54 points, but DeMbare won the title for the third consecutive season on goal difference.

Dynamos' defeat of Mambas condemned the police side to Division 1, joining Motor Action, Monomotapa and Tripple B, who have also been relegated.

Dynamos are the champions and become the second team after Highlanders to keep the trophy in modern day premiership ...as Black Mambas got relegated joining Monomotapa, Motor Action and Tripple B
