Former England international and Charlton Athletic manager Chris Powell has made his first signings of the summer by capturing two midfield players including Zimbabwean born Bradley Pritchard.

Bradley Pritchard has already played and captained the young England Universities side.

Danny Hollands has moved to The Valley from AFC Bournemouth on a three-year contract and Powell has also acquired Bradley Pritchard from non-league Hayes & Yeading United on a 12-month deal, with the option of a further 12 months.

The 25-year-old Hollands scored 28 goals in 219 appearances for Bournemouth, including a deflected strike against the Addicks in a 2-2 draw at Dean Court in March.

Powell said: "I'm really happy that Danny has agreed to join us because he's a player I have long admired. He knows the League 1 level, has got plenty of experience and scores a few goals from midfield."

Zimbabwe-born Pritchard, who is also 25, impressed Powell during a trial at The Valley towards the end of the season and said: "To be associated with Charlton Athletic is incredible. It's a fantastic opportunity for me and one I want to take."
