Young Warriors storms into Cosafa semi-finals

The Young Warriors played out a 1-all draw with Mozambique in a COSAFA U-20 semi-final play-off in Lesotho on Monday.
The result put the Young Warriors through to the semi-finals of the tournament.
Despite missing the services of Walter Musona and Tafadzwa Kutinyu, the Young Warriors hoped to pick up their third victory of the tournament after beating Swaziland (2-1) and Botswana (3-0) in their first two assignments
Tinotenda Kadewere put the Young Warriors ahead in the 10th minute, but Mozambique clawed their way back into the game and were duly rewarded in the 63rd minute when captain Clausio Bauque showed composure by lobbing the ball past a drawn out Donovan Bernard in goals for Zimbabwe.
The Young Warriors will now meet Group B winners, Angola in the semi-final.
Angola played out a 2-all draw with Botswana in another semi-final playoff encounter on Monday afternoon.
Lesotho beat Mauritius 3-nil.
