The Zimbabwe national team, Warriors goes into this Sunday's camp to commence preparations for their crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mali set for the National Sports Stadium next week Sunday.

The Warriors will as usual be in camp for a brief period, something football followers have lamented for a long time.

ZIFA Chief Executive Officer, Jonathan Mashingaidze said while they would have loved to have the Warriors Camp for a long time, circumstances beyond their control could not permit.

"The issue is that it is a FIFA stipulation to be in camp for five days and the other problem is that most of our players who ply their trade outside the country were not yet here, so we did not want to have a disjointed camp," said Mashingaidze.

The Warriors will conduct their first training session on Monday.

The foreign based contingent has responded positively to the call by Warriors coach Norman Mapeza, save for combative midfielder, Justice Majabvi, who is expected to jet into the country on Monday morning.

Meanwhile, ZIFA says they are resorting to pre-match ticket sales to avoid congestion at the turnstiles of the match day, while at the same tome trying to avert circulation of fake tickets.
