The Warriors are now in South Africa for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) which begins on Saturday and will take on Gabon in an international friendly encounter in Johannesburg tomorrow.
The Warriors, who are making a third successive appearance at the CHAN tournament, are in Group B alongside Morocco, Burkina Faso and Uganda.
The technical department will get a chance to assess the team's strengths and weaknesses ahead of the continental competition when the Warriors take on Gabon in an international friendly at the Rand Stadium in Johannesburg on Tuesday.
Thereafter they proceed to Cape Town where they will be based.
Plans are also afoot to engage ABSA premiership outfit Ajax Cape Town in another preparatory match before the tournament kicks off on Saturday.
The Warriors quest to conquer on the continental stage will begin on Sunday, when they come face to face with the Atlas Lions of Morroco, who are one of the favourites in the group by virtue of having seven Raja Casablanca players who took part in the recently held FIFA Club World, where the North African outfit lost to European heavyweights Bayern Munich in the final.
The Warriors also need to navigate their way past the Stallions of Burkina Faso and the Cranes of Uganda in their bid to progress to the knockout stage of the African Nations Championship at the third time of asking.
