Bulawayo giants, Highlanders FC have suffered another blow with star striker Njabulo Ncube joining FC Platinum.
Ncube was one of Highlanders' star players last season scoring 10 goals and joins the Zvishavane based side as a free agent.
Ncube's contract expired at the end of last year he is rumored to have been given $10 000 as signing on fees.
The player says he will be linking up with the FC Platinum pre-season camp currently in Kariba at the weekend and wished Highlanders well.
"Yes I can confirm I have joined FC Platinum. I signed yesterday," said Ncube a "I wish Highlanders well and I am looking forward to new challenges at FC Platinum," said Ncube in an interview with Soccer 24
FC Platinum refused to confirm the deal but admitted Njabulo Ncube was on their wish list.
The move will come as another big blow for Highlanders who lost another star player Masimba Mambare to Dynamos earlier this week.
There are likely to be more losses for Highlanders with Milton Ncube and Peter "Rio" Moyo also likely to leave the club after their contracts expired last year and they are yet to commit to new deals. Both players are with the Warriors squad in South Africa for CHAN.
