MUCH travelled Rahman Gumbo was one of the three shortlisted candidates who attended yesterday's interviews for the Triangle FC coaching job at the Lowveld side yesterday.
The other two coaches who were interviewed for the Triangle hot-seat, which fell vacant last week when the club decided against extending Gishon Ntini's contract are ex-FC Platinum and How Mine's Philani Mabhena and Biggie Zuze formerly with relegated Monomotapa.
In a telephone interview yesterday afternoon, Triangle FC chairman Lovemore Matikinyidze confirmed they had interviewed the trio.
He could not be drawn into commenting on the alleged fallout with Ntini who joined Triangle in June 2011 and finished on third position in the Eastern Region Division One before winning the championship and the ticket into the Premiership the following year.
