Zimbabwe have returned to the top 100 of the Fifa world rankings thanks to their impressive performance at African Nations Championship (Chan) finals last month.
The Warriors reached the semi-finals of the competition, losing 5-4 to eventual winners Libya on penalties before settling for fourth place after losing to Nigeria in the third-place play-off.
With that, Zimbabwe moved five places to number 100 in the latest rankings released by the world football governing body yesterday.
In Africa, Ian Gorowa's men are now ranked number 27, up from 29.
African heavyweights Ivory Coast retained their place as the best team in Africa, followed by Algeria, Cape Verde Islands, Ghana and Egypt.
Meanwhile, European giants Spain have maintained their stranglehold on top of the world rankings followed by Germany and Argentina on second and third place respectively.
