Warriors beat Malawi in an international friendly

The Warriors have extinguished the Flames of Malawi 4-1 in an international friendly encounter at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Peter Moyo (1), Kudakwashe Mahachi (1) and Kingston Nkhata (2) came through for the Warriors.
The Flames replied one back through Apitaye Nyondo in the 49th minute.
The match provided coach Ian Gorowa an opportunity to assess the Warriors, who will soon embark on a qualification journey for the African Cup of Nations.
The Warriors, together with other Southern African teams, are out of the 2014 World Cup after they failed to qualify for the last round play-offs which saw 10 countries, seven from West Africa, two from North Africa and one from East Africa, making it past the preliminary group stages.
