Young aspiring footballers will get an opportunity to impress and secure scholarships to the United States when three American coaches arrive in the country on Monday for a three-day talent identification programme facilitated by Friendly Soccer Academy.

The young footballers will be keen to impress the visiting coaches: Barry Gorman (a top us consultant), Trevor Gorman of Alban State University and Garreth Elliot of Rhodes Island University.

Although the talent identification crusade is being facilitated by Friendly Soccer Academy, it is however open to all young players with academic and football prowess.

The academy's Technical Director, Patridge Muskwe said the programme is a once in a lifetime opportunity for young players to secure scholarships that will come in handy in their journey towards stardom.

"Players who believe they are academically gifted and have football talent should come to try and impress the coaches in the hope of securing scholarships to the US. I am sure with the talent we have, several young players will impress and secure scholarships," Muskwe said.

The talent identification programme will be held at Hellenic Sports Club in Harare from the 11th to the 13th of this month.
