Zimbabwe's football team has returned back to top 100 on the latest Fifa Coca-Cola World Rankings released yesterday after moving up four places.
The rankings by the world football controlling body Fifa saw the Warriors move from 102 in the world to 98.
The Warriors are now ranked number 26 on the African continent up from 28.
The fact that the Warriors moved up the ladder on both the Fifa and Caf rankings could come as a morale booster to Ian Gorowa's men who will soon be involved in the 2015 African Nations Cup qualifiers.
Zimbabwe's only match since their fairy-tale run at the Chan finals in South Africa was against Malawi in an international friendly, which the Warriors comfortably won 4-1 away.
Meanwhile, African heavyweights Ivory Coast retained their place as the best team in Africa, followed by Algeria, Egypt, Cape Verde Islands and Ghana.
Spain have maintained their stranglehold on top of the world rankings followed by Germany and Argentina in second and third place respectively.
