The Zimbabwe Warriors are out of the AFCON 2015 after failing to beat the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in the preliminary qualifying round second leg match at the National Sports Stadium this Sunday afternoon.

Losing to Tanzania at this stage of AFCON qualifiers is just embarrassing ! No amount of explanations will make us understand what these clowns are doing with our game. Zimbabwe football deserve better than this.

Gorowa gambled with His funny team selection at CHAN but He has been exposed. He created a non-existant crisis for certain positions to justify the inclusion of His players. We have tried and tested players like Bhasera and Vusa Nyoni. Someone must just apologise and they resign. We didn't assemble our best squad. This was not the best Zimbabwean football talent.

On this one, we can't go back to the drawing board, the drawing board was not there in the first place, we need the drawing board first and then we can start thinking of who will do the drawing for us on the board. Anyone willing to look for the board out there ahead of 2017 and 2018, now is the time to do so.

The Warriors needed at least a 2-nil win to progress after losing the first leg in Tanzania 1-nil but the hosts let in two sloppy goals and eventually settled for a 2-all draw.

Ian Gorowa's charges had a dream start with Dani Phiri slotting home early in the first half but the visitors replied with a header from a corner kick to force a 1-all score-line going to the break.

Tanzania got the second goal in the first minute after the restart, and Warriors apparently pressed the panic button with Gorowa making a couple of substitutions before Willard Katsande headed home the equaliser.

The Warriors pressed on but could not score the two goals needed for them to progress, and surrendered the ticket to the next qualifying round to Tanzania, who cruised courtesy of a 3-2 aggregate win.
