Dynamos coach Mutasa wants Peter

Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa confirmed that he wants legendary striker Peter Ndlovu at Dynamos.
Ndlovu has been linked to Dynamos and is said to on the verge of joining the African Champions League contenders although the player said "the truth will only come from Peter", when asked about the move.
Mutasa believes the presence of Peter in the squad will boost the team, especially in the quest for continental success.
"Peter has experience and it will be a good signing for the team, especially considering that we will be playing in the Champions League where experience overrides almost everything.
"The squad I have is very young and mobile. The team needs leaders like Peter and Desmond Maringwa to guide them.
"The two players might lack speed but they can compensate for that with experience and brains," said the former Tanganda player.
Mutasa believes his side can repeat the 1998 feat by reaching the Champions League final this year.
Mutasa took over the reins at the Harare giants last week after the abrupt resignation of Elvis Chuchu Chiweshe, who accused the team of engaging in ritual tendencies that were compromising his Christian beliefs.
Mutasa's first assignment as the head coach was to select the 25 players that will participate in the Caf Champions League.
The former Dynamos player retained the bulk of the Dynamos team that participated in last year's Champions League while bringing players from Kiglon. They are defenders Thomas Magorimbo, Dominic Benati, Gift Bello and midfielders Devon Chafa and Denver Mukamba.
Dynamos qualified for a Champions League spot after coming second to eventual winners Motor Action, and for the second year running, the Harare giants were given a bye in the first round of the competition.
Mutasa said although he is happy with the players he managed to sign, he was still disheartened that he failed to land players he thought could have added more depth to the squad.
He could not secure the signatures of strikers Clive Kawinga, Kudakwashe Musharu and Edmore Chitato. Chitato and Musharu eventually signed for league champions Motor Action. Kawinga plays for Caps United.
Mutasa said the team is still trying to lure three more strikers into the team to boost their Champions League squad.
