Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane, has not ruled out the possibility of adding another Zimbabwean to his squad if he is impressed with a player during the current tour of the neighbouring country.
According to the Soccer-Laduma website, the Chloorkop side arrived in Zimbabwe last week Thursday, and beat Highlanders 1-0 in a practice match in Bulawayo, before Mosimane watched the Zvishavane derby between FC Platinum and Shabanie Mine.
Sundowns edged Caps United on Tuesday in another closed door practice match in Harare, and are scheduled to engage Zimbabwean champions, Dynamos FC in another sparring session on Wednesday.
Mosimane admitted the tour presents a scouting opportunity for him and could be tempted to rope in an impressive local.
"Our pre-season is ongoing and that means building a team," he said.
"We cannot turn a blind eye on an extremely talented player is we discover one. Being here is not only to train but a scouting chance as well. Zimbabwe has good players and look at Kuda Mahachi our latest acquisition from this country."
The former Bafana Bafana mentor however played his cards closed to his chest on whether there is a player that has already caught his attention.
Sundowns embarked on a similar tour of Zimbabwe last year and played the same opponents but did not sign a player from that trip even though Chicken Inn goalkeeper, Liberty Chirava, played for them (Sundowns) in two of their games.
