According to invites sent to Castle Lager Premier Soccer League clubs the draw will be held in Harare on Wednesday. The knockout competition is set to involve all the 16 PSL teams and the first round of the competition is earmarked for the weekend of 16-17 August with the quarter-finals set for 12-14 September.
The tournament, which was one of the biggest cup competitions in the 70s and early 80s is being sponsored to the tune of $500 000 by the league's sponsors, Delta Beverages.
The tournament had been penciled for May and August but a congested fixtures programme has seen it being pushed further.
The Chibuku Super Cup will be the second knockout competition for the PSL this year following the kick off of the One Wallet Cup last month although the NetOne sponsored tournament involves eight teams only.
