Ian Gorowa quits as Zimbabwe coach

Ian Gorowa is set to step down as Zimbabwe Warriors coach today ahead of today's ZIFA board meeting that is meant to decide his future.

In a letter to ZIFA Gorowa cited personal reasons as the main reason for his resignation. He also points out his unpaid salaries and bonuses as well as a difficult working relationship with the ZIFA as some of his reasons for stepping down.

According to Soccer24, Pressure had been mounting on Gorowa who was also recently in a rare move summoned by the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Education, Sport, Arts and Culturen to discuss the Warriors failure in continental assignments together with Mighty Warriors coach Rosemary Mugadza.

ZIFA are yet to confirm Gorowa's resignation.
