Spanish La Liga outfit Granada have confirmed Knowledge Musona is on trials despite the Smiling Assassin's agent insisting the Zimbabwean striker is merely training with the La Liga outfit.
Granada posted on its website that Musona trained with the B team and the player will be undergoing trials under the watchful eye of the La Liga outfits manager Joaquin Caparros.
According to Granada's communication platform, Musona will train with the first team to decide if he will end up forming part of Granada's team.
The Smiling Assassin was spotted by Spanish media at Granada B's training session and despite suggestions Musona is looking for a move to La Liga, the Warriors strikers agent Mike Makaab was quoted by kickoff.com as having denied that Musona is on trial, stating the Aces Youth Academy product is merely training with Granada to keep fit.
The Smiling Assassin's future has been subject to speculation with Kaizer Chiefs understood to be among the front runners to land Musona's signature.
Musona is on record for having said he would prefer to play football in Europe, yet if such a move does not materialise he would rather turn out for Amakhosi.
If Musona is indeed on trial and eventually seals a move to Granada, he will become the first Zimbabwean player to play in the Spanish La Liga.
