Buffaloes coach, Luke Masomere has challenged match officials to exercise fair play and allow the best teams to progress when the Chibuku Super Cup first round ties commence this weekend.
It is knock out competition once again as the forgotten Chibuku Trophy returns to spice up Zimbabwe's league competition.
While the cup competition gives full guarantee of the excitement of imminent elimination, Masomere has called on referees not to spoil it by bad officiating.
The army side is billed to take on Chiredzi FC at Sakubva Stadium in Mutare and Masomere said he may not be around to give orders due to the on-going CAF License Course but he hopes sanity will prevail and his team will definitely go through.
Dynamos gaffer, Callisto Pasuwa, whose house is under fire after reports of player boycotts, admitted that Black Rhinos is their bogey side, adding that with adequate preparations and a focused mindset, it is a done deal for his side.
The Chibuku Super Cup will toast eight exciting and unpredictable fixtures this weekend with all the 16 league teams looking forward to good performances that can ensure their chances of lifting the trophy.
