Dynamos players are likely to resume training on Saturday morning just some few hours before their clash against Black Rhinos in the Chibuku Super Cup amid reports that the impasse with management is not yet over.
It appears a breakthrough is imminent following a meeting held at Gwanzura Stadium where the Dembare players and management finally had dialogue.
Though nothing concrete was achieved by the meeting, the dialogue has paved way for the search for a solution to the five-day player boycott.
Club chairman, Kenny Mubaiwa confirmed having met the players, whom he said, presented their list of grievances.
Mubaiwa added that the Dynamos management acknowledged a willingness to address the grievances which are mostly financial but cited that the Harare giants have no money.
Upon accepting responsibility to address the said grievances, the management had to leave head coach Callisto Pasuwa, who had to be recalled from his CAF License Course, to intercede and negotiate with the players for a way forward.
It is said Pasuwa pleaded with the players and the negotiations ended with a pledge from the players to resume training on Saturday morning.
Close sources from the team who requested anonymity revealed that no money was paid but the players agreed to return to training for the sake of their fans, sponsors and stakeholders, adding that they felt whatever the circumstances football must be the overall winner.
It has also emerged that as part of the condition to resume training, the players want the Dynamos management to issue a statement on the state of affairs for the public to appreciate the root cause of the five-day strike as well as protect the players from victimisation or attacks from supporters if the result doesn't come out favourable on Sunday.
