WARRIORS' skilful winger Kudakwashe Mahachi is ready for the Absa Premiership after receiving his work permit last week.
Mahachi was on the bench when his team Mamelodi Sundowns lost 1-0 to youthful Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday night. The midfielder was bought by the Pretoria club early this year after an impressive Chan tournament in January and February.
But he spent the first half of the Zimbabwean league on free loan to Highlanders.
He is highly regarded at the club.
Sundowns' communications co-ordinator Thulani Thuswa told Chronicle Sport: "Kuda is ready for the league games and we are delighted that he is available for selection as he was on the bench in our previous game. He is a highly talented individual, believe me our coach Pitso Mosimane will not have second thoughts to throw him in the thick of things."
Thuswa said the Zimbabwean has been impressive at training. He said Khama Billiat, who has been out through injury, has removed the plaster on his leg and is expected to start training in four weeks' time.
Nyasha Mushekwi is still recovering from an injury sustained in Belgium and looks in danger of not being registered for the season.
Cuthbert Malajila is back from injury and is training with the club. Sundowns will be heading to Dobsonville Stadium in Johannesburg on Wednesday night to clash with PSL table leaders Moroka Swallows.
Meanwhile, Pretoria University's Denver Mukamba has also received his work permit.
He is available for selection against Chippa United in Cape Town on Wednesday.
