Dynamos captain Murape Murape and striker Roderick Mutuma were on Tuesday involved in a fist fight after failing to agree on whether to accept or decline the $40 bonus award, which had been offered by the club executive as part of the payment plan of the $400-$600 rewards owed.

The brawl meant that the lanky striker was involved in another fist fight barely 48 hours after being caught in another fighting storm with Black Rhinos defender Obey Gada in a Chibuku Super Cup first round match, last Sunday, at Gwanzura stadium.

Mutuma confirmed the incident to The Zimbabwe Mail saying it was just a misunderstanding he had with his captain.

"It was just a misunderstanding between us but it was nothing serious," said Mutuma.

A player at the Harare giants who was speaking on condition of anonymity confirmed that Murape and Mutuma fought after a misunderstanding over money offered by the executives as part of their bonuses.

"The two fought at the end of the session over allowances, as Murape had refused to accept the offer which had been made by the executive saying we have to boycott training and the match against Hwange  as he felt the executive was not fulfilling their promise.

"On the other hand, Mutuma wanted the players to take the money and boycott  training after the match on Thursday. The two then had an argument exchanging words which eventually ended in a fight," he said.

"As players we are now worried with the situation as the division has now gone to the players in times that we should be fighting the executive as a united side. This can disturb our cause."

Dembare players last week boycotted training, petitioning the executive led by Kenny Mubaiwa with a list of grievances which they wanted addressed by the club.

Sanity had returned to the club at the beginning of the week with the team back at training only for the ghost of their financial instability to haunt them again.
