Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that they have received a work permit for their new Zimbabwean signing Ovidy Karuru.
Karuru joined Chiefs earlier this month on a free transfer after his contact with OH Leuven in Belgium ended.
He had been on trial for several weeks before being offered a deal with Chiefs.
The 25-year-old Karuru also played in France at Boulogne.
Karuru is one of four new signings for Amakhosi in the off-season.
They have given Siphelele Mthembu a debut but are still to play Levy Mokgothu and Phakamani Mngadi in the team.
Karuru joins Zimbabwean colleagues Willard Katsande and Kingstone Nkhatha in the squad for this season as they take the early season lead in the Absa Premiership.
