Zimbabwe will face Zambia in an international friendly on August 10 in Harare.
It is reported that the encounter received the green light after the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) and the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) sealed a deal on June 30.
The clash which will serve a form of preparations for the two teams for the remaining matches of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier was agreed after ZIFA's discussions with Malawi fell through.
The Zimbabwe Warriors will next face Liberia in September in a game they must win to remain in contention for a place at the finals. Zimbabwe have five points and trail Mali (6 points) and Cape Verde (7 points) in Group A.
