Johannesburg - Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane has praised striker Cuthbert Malajila after he got his name on the scoresheet in Sunday's 3-0 win over Polokwane City.
The former Highlanders FC striker opened the scoring and provided the assist for Downs' second goal as the Brazilians cruised to a 3-0 victory at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Mosimane saluted the marksman's goal-scoring prowess, as he has risen to become the league champions' top scorer despite missing the early stages of the season through injury.
"Cuthbeth is a goalscorer, that's all he does he scores goals," the Sundowns coach said after his side registered their third straight win.
"It was a scrappy game, we all saw it. But we scored when it mattered and we won when it mattered also.
"Last year we came here and we lost two points here, so I got my two points I was short of," he added.
Malajila's took his overall tally to three goals in as many starts with his latest strike. The Warriors' forward has also made two further appearances off the bench.
Sundowns' next game is in the Telkom Knockout Challenge when try avoid first round exit against University of Pretoria on Saturday, October 4 at 17:30.
