CHAMPIONS Dynamos appear to be failing to rub off the bad boy image after they were hit with $5 125 fines by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) for various offences, while Highlanders were fined 4 000 from the start of the season to August.

According to the PSL Standing Order Offences and Fines, as of August, Dynamos were fined for offences ranging from missile-throwing to failure to provide properly cleaned dressing rooms for the second year running.

Last term, the PSL had to garnish their Castle Lager League title prize money of $70 000 after hitting them with heavy fines of $64 000 for various offences.

This time, Dynamos were slapped with a $375 fine for failure to provide cleaned dressing rooms during a match against Harare City on April 27.

They were also fined $250 for failure to provide requested information on time [team sheets] during their league match against Caps United.

The Harare giants also failed to submit monthly awards ballots for April and May and were consequently hit with a $250 fine.

The champions failed to produce club flags which attracted a $250 fine.

They, however, attracted the heaviest fine of $4 000 for missile-throwing by their fans during their match against army side Black Rhinos.

Bulawayo giants Highlanders were second team to incur the heaviest fines after they were fined a total of $4 000 for missile-throwing in two instances. They were fined $2 000 for pitch invasion and missile-throwing during their match against How Mine on June 6 and another $2 000 for throwing missiles during their match against Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium.

Highlanders' Willard Khumalo was also fined $125 for his expulsion from the technical area during the match against Chapungu in May.

However, Caps United appear to have behaved well so far, attracting only a total of $875 for accumulating five yellow cards or more during their match against Hwange ($125) and use of an undesignated entry point for that match ($750).

Shabanie Mine were fined a total of $1 700 for delaying match kick-off against How Mine ($250), use of an undesignated entry point against FC Platinum $750, failure to provide club flags $250 and using a kit with the names of a player or sponsor's logo not properly secured as per Fifa standards against Buffaloes $450

The other clubs fined are as follows:

Buffaloes - Peter Masibera's expulsion from the technical area during the match against Triangle United ($125);

How Mine - Albert Mangezi's expulsion from the technical area during the match against Caps United ($125);
