MOSES Chunga believes his Buffaloes charges are ready for Sunday's big Castle Premiership football match against leaders and champions Dynamos at Sakubva, describing the game as self-motivating in itself for the players.

Having already downed Dynamos 1-0 in the reverse fixture in Harare (then under Luke Masomere), Buffaloes will be looking at completing an unlikely double as they fight for a top four finish at the end of the season.

Chunga said they will go into the match knowing that they are fighting relegation.

"We are treating the match just like any other game, but the match is also important because we also need to win as we are in a relegation dogfight. The best way to put it is that we are going to compete and the team that is going to score more goals will win and the result will come out on Sunday," he said.

"I think my boys are self-motivated. I say that because some of players who have injuries have attended today's (yesterday) training. This shows a lot of motivation although there are some in-house issues that need to be managed, but this is not for media consumption," he said.

"As usual, I would like to encourage the community to support their team, this is their team and they should come in their numbers for the cause of the team. Community plays an important role in the development of football," he said.

Meanwhile, Chunga has apologised to former Highlanders gaffer Kelvin Kaindu over insulting comments he made to the Zambian following the two clubs' 0-0 league match at Hartsfield Stadium in Bulawayo last month.
