Knowledge Musona may be wearing his Kaizer Chiefs' shirt for the last time against Orlando Pirates in the third Vodacom Challenge match in Port Elizabeth on Thursday evening.
The 21-year-old Zimbabwean scoring prodigy is set for an overseas career and might, fittingly, end his glorious two-season stint at Chiefs in the Soweto Derby ' the biggest match on the South African soccer calendar ' at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
The winners will play English Premier Division side Tottenham Hotspur in the final in Johannesburg on Saturday.
Musona returned on Friday from Germany after a week's trial at Bundesliga club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, accompanied by Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung and his agent Mike Makaab.
He is said to have impressed during his stay and a contract is currently under negotiation.
Musona was in Polokwane over the weekend with his teammates where he came in for Lehlohonolo Majoro in the second half and caused all sorts of problems for the fancied Tottenham Hotspurs in the tournament opener where Amakhosi ran out a 1-0 victory with substitute midfielder George Lebese finding a late winner in the 90th minute.
