ZPC Kariba 2 - 1 Dynamos
Dynamos blew a one goal lead to surrender the title race to ZPC Kariba.
Dynamos put on a brilliant first half show but failed to come to the party in the second half and conceded twice to virtually surrender the title to debutants ZPC kariba.
Dynamos now have to rely on Caps United winning or drawing their final match. If ZPC Kariba fail to collect maximum points Dynamos should beat How Mine by a four goal Margin.
Dynamos started the match brightly and within six minutes Dynamos surged ahead from a Gondo header. It was a product of sheer brilliance from Mambare.
Dynamos had a shout for penalty that was turned away by referee after Mambare dived in the penalty area.
In the first half ZPC Kariba were out of sort as Dynamos dominated and Mutuma was at the end of another beautiful cross from Mambare. The header was excellent but so too was the save by the goalkeeper.
Mutuma again created room for himself wide on the left inside the box but with keeper to beat the angle proved to be too tight for him.
Dynamos went to the breather seemingly in control, but things would be different in the second half.
Dynamos were second to the ball and out of nothing ZPC Kariba drew level. What was meant to be a cross deflected off a Dynamos defender into the nets with young Mukuruva moving off the line anticipating to cut a cross
ZPC Kariba sensed blood, Chikafa and Tafenyika increased the tempo and 11 minutes after their equalizer they grabbed what proved to be the match winner.
A counter was whipped into the danger zone and the young Dynamos goalkeeper come out to cut the ball but Chikafa come in with a strong challenge to win the aerial tussle and pushed it in.
Dynamos had twenty minutes to make amends and at least get a point but ZPC Kariba defended well.
Simba and Mutuma at times were caught flat footed and could not scramble the chances in.
Mushure had several attempts at goal but his goal bound efforts were blocked.
Dynamos best Chance fell to Simba when he connected from close range a Mushure cross but the reflexes of the keeper saved the day for ZPC Kariba.
