THE secret is out, Tsholotsho FC's 13th man on the field has been revealed as the late Vice President John Landa Nkomo.
Landa Nkomo passed away in 2012. Since then, Tsholotsho FC has not lost a league match at home.
"People should take note of that before my father's body was taken to its last resting place it came here (Tsholotsho). The helicopter landed at the team's home stadium (Mbute). Since then, they have not lost a single home match," said Jabulani Nkomo one of the guest of honours.
Now joining the big boys league, they want to continue with their strong home advantage record. However, they will use Barbourfields stadium in Bulawayo as their second home as the team races against time to have an up-to-standard stadium in Tsholotsho next season.
Speaking at the teams end of year awards ceremony, Patrick Ngwenya the finance chairman of Tsholotsho Rural District council said they have a huge task on their hands.
"For now I have no actual date but I want to let you know that next season, Tsholotsho FC will not be playing home games at BF," he said.
Since the team's biggest pay check next season would be against Highlanders FC they could move their fixture to Barbourfields if need be.
