Contrary to reports on Saturday, Zimbabwean defender Zvenyika Makonese is alive and kicking.

Bulawayo24 readers were shocked on Sarurday following reports that Makonese had passed away following a car accident in Zimbabwe.

Bulawayo24com followed up KickOff, Supersport, NewZimbabwe and two separate sources confirmed the news, as did a hoard of other media houses.
