Bafana Bafana have gotten their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations campaign off to the worst possible start when they went down 3-1 to Algeria in their opening match.
Bafana opened the scoring through Thuso Phala, before an own-goal by Thulani Hlatshwayo levelled matters.
Algeria then took the lead through Faouzi Ghoulam, before Islam Slimani put the result beyond doubt with the third.
Earlier in Group C, Senegal came from a goal down to beat Ghana 2-1.
