Blue Ribbon (1) 1 - 0 Dynamos
James Jam emerged the hero of Zimbabwe Castle league premiership rookies Blue Ribbon who completed a rare double over Dynamos.
James Jam struck in the seventh minute at Rufaro yesterday and that was all Misheck Chidzambwa's side needed to complete their double over the fancied Dembare side.
Blue Ribbon made clear their intention of winning the match from the first whistle, but only went ahead in the seventh minute through Jam.
Blue Ribbon started off brightly, dominating in midfield with Dynamos always second to the ball.
They were rewarded for their early enterprise when Tineyi Chitora roasted two defenders and left the Dembare defence in sixes and seven before releasing Tawanda Mapungu whose pinpoint cross could only find Jam's head for him to place the ball into an empty net.
The Misheck Chidzambwa-coached side beat their more fancied opponents in the reverse fixture 2-1 in June and once again DeMbare could not find the medicine to tame the minnows.
Teams:
Blue Ribbon

Dynamos
