MAMELODI Sundowns FC are yet to decide on the future of two Zimbabwean players, Nyasha Mushekwi and Method Mwanjali, who are still on their books.
The second transfer-window closed on Friday night without the Sundowns management finding a solution for the two former Warriors players.
According to sources close to the club, Mushekwi might not play in the South African Absa Premiership in the second half of the season.
Sundowns are believed to be negotiating a European deal for Mushekwi while Mwanjali could move to a South African side.
"These two players are still contracted to us we will make sure that they will be playing football regularly and taken care of but they didn't travel to Durban with the team where Sundowns have been in camp preparing for their league and Caf Champions League commitments in two weeks' time.
"Mushekwi and Mwanjali are good players who can be vital in any coach's plans," said Sundowns' communications co-ordinator Thulani Thuswa.
Thuswa confirmed that Cuthbert Malajila, Khama Billiat, Kudakwashe Mahachi and Esrom Nyandoro had made the cut for the Durban mid-season camp.
He spoke highly of the Khama and Malajila pairing.
"Definitely we rate them very highly especially when our coach Pitso Mosimane pairs them. Surely they'll demolish many of our opponents when the season resumes in almost two weeks' time," Thuswa said.
Former Warriors and veteran Sundowns defensive midfielder Nyandoro showed some good form when the South African defending champions beat visiting Zambian side Zesco United 2-0 in a friendly match at Chloorkop two weeks ago.
Nyandoro came on as a second half substitute.
