Kaizer Chiefs, Amakhosi as they are affectionately known by their legion of followers have quietly welcomed two Zimbabweans, Justice Majabvi and Lincoln Zvasiya, for trials at their training base in Naturena.
The two players are expected to train with Chiefs for 10 days and they started sweating it out with Chiefs yesterday morning, with Majabvi joining in from Bloemfontein Celtic where he briefly trained last week,KickOff has revealed.
Majabvi is now a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Austrian club LASK Linz, who were relegated from the Austrian Bundesliga last season.
Zvasiya – who is currently attached to money-rich Zimbabwean club FC Platinum – is an Under-23 international central defender. He was groomed at the Aces Academy the very same club that gave birth to former Chiefs striker Knowledge Musona.
The 21-year-old had trials at SuperSport United last year when he was still on loan at Monomotapa before making his move to FC Platinum this year. He was last week rewarded with his first call-up to the Warriors for the upcoming friendly against Zambia on Wednesday.
