Musona last night flew out from Johannesburg to Germany to join his new Bungesliga club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim following the issuing of his visa.
Musona has signed a five-year contract with Hoffenheim after spending the past two years at Chiefs, where he scored 28 goals in 48 games.
Since signing his contract last week, Musona had been waiting for the issuing of his visa that would then enable to travel to Germany to join his new teammates. He is expected to have a light work-out with the rest of the Hoffenheim team today as they prepare for the start of the Bundesliga this weekend.
Before flying out to Germany last night, Musona had spent the previous day back home in Zimbabwe with his family before leaving for Germany.
With the Bundesliga kicking off this weekend, it is uncertain that Musona will be thrown straight into the mix when Hoffenheim travel to face Hannover 96 at the AWD-Arena.
