South African premiership side, Mamelodi Sundowns have rejected Zimbabwe international, Method Mwanjali's request to have his clearance certificate, in his attempt to play competitive football this season.

The defender is in limbo and has not played any official premiership games this season, following Sundowns' decision not to register him for the 2014/15 campaign.

The former Hwange and Caps United player was hoping to get a club in the past transfer window in January but the Brazilians insist on clinging onto the player.

Mpumalanga Black Aces were reportedly interested in Mwanjali when Clive Barker's side strengthened their squad in January.

Meanwhile, Warriors forward, Khama Billiart has reportedly attracted the attention of French football giants, Lille.

Despite being injured at the beginning of the season, Billiart hit the ground running upon his return and has been one of Sundowns' best players alongside the likes of Teko Modise and Cuthbert Malajila.

The French Ligue 1 scouts were said to be impressed by Billiart's performances in a 2-0 victory over ZESCO in a friendly about two weeks ago.

Lille is the club that moulded Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard and former Arsenal and Cote d'Ivoire forward, Gervinho into being two of the best wingers in the world.
