WARRIORS' players, Silas Songani and Knowledge Musona were both on target for their respective Danish and Belgian clubs over the weekend.

Formerly with Harare City, Songani, now turning out for Sonderjyske, struck in the 88th minute, a few minutes after coming in for Tommy Bechman and in the process condemned fellow countryman and former Motor Action player Quincy Antipas' Hobro to a 0-1 defeat.

With the win Songani's side leaped to eighth place with 23 points while Antipas' Hobro are now ninth with 21 points.

"Home team Sonderjyske was dominated, and it was more than Jonas Dals' crew could handle and the light blue side fetched a vital and entertaining performance with hectic endings debut for Baldur Sigurdsson, goalie Marin Skender making numerous saves as Songani secured the three points with his match winning action shortly before the end," a piece from the club's website read.

While Songani was celebrating a goal and three points, Musona's day proved to be one of mixed fortunes. He scored his debut league goal while his team KV Oostende fell 1-3 at home to Sporting Charleroi. Musona struck in the 77th minute but the goal was not enough to secure his struggling side maximum points.

Former Highlanders midfielder Vusa Nyoni's second tier Belgian side Mons were not in action this weekend but they recorded a 4-0 win over Excelsior Virton in their last league match that saw them take their points tally to 43 points from 26 matches.
