Mapeza's FC Platinum massacred in Tanzania

FC Platinum were handed a 5-1 drubbing by Tanzanian side, Young Africans in the CAF Confederations Cup first round first leg away in Tanzania.

The platinum miners, who eliminated Sofapaka United of Malawi in the preliminary round of the tournament, had hoped for a better result, but now face an uphill task of overturning the defeat when the two sides clash again in the second leg back home in two-weeks time.

Young Africans are no strangers to upsetting Zimbabwean teams, after beating Highlanders 2-0 at Babourfields stadium in Bulawayo back in 2001.
