Madinda Ndlovu attacked by fans, resigns from Township Rollers

Former Highlanders player and coach Madinda Ndlovu has quit his Botswana side Township Rollers FC.
Ndlovu was attacked by club supporters after weekend cup defeat.
He said "I now fear for my life as the supporters threw bottles and other missiles at me after our Mascom Top 8 final against Gaborone United."
The club said in statement : "Township Rollers FC Management confirms that coach Madinda Ndlovu has tendered his resignation as the Head Coach of Township Rollers FC today (21st April 2015). He has given a notice to serve the remainder of his contract.
"The management further advises that Mr Mogomotsi Teenage Mpote has been assigned the full responsibility of coaching the team till the end of the season, and to give the full control of the team, the management has agreed to release coach Madinda Ndlovu with immediate effect," it added.
"We wish our former Head coach Madinda Ndlovu and Assistant Coach Zachariah Muzadzi all the very best for all their future endeavors ahead, we shall always cherish and gloriously remember with pride on all the accomplishments during their tenure with us at the Blues".
Ndlovu's last match was the Mascom Top 8 final defeat to Rahman Gumbo-coached Gaborone United (GU) in the final at the National Stadium on Saturday night.
