VETERAN coach Sunday Chidzambwa has admitted that scores of footballers and coaches use juju.
Teams use anything from animal urine, animal bones, feathers to using healers and mediums to cast spells or remove spells, to inhale scented smoke or steam before matches - anything they think will give them an edge.
However, Chidzambwa was quick to say he view is that it work for those who believe in it.
"It is true that there are players and even coaches who use 'juju' to win games and or to intimidate their opponents before or during matches so that they win games," Chidzambwa told H-Metro.
"What I have seen during my careers as a player and coach locally and abroad that juju only works if you believe that it exits and can work.
"I used to tell my players that if you put ten bags of juju at the goal post and try to shoot the ball past them it is very possible that you can score. To me it does not work and players and coaches alike should desist from using juju because it doesn't work at all," maintained the gaffer.
Chidzambwa said a team has enough talent there was no need to use juju saying there was substitute for talent.
