Harare City 2-1 FC Platinum
Chapungu 2-1 ZPC Kariba
AFTER being beaten home and away in the league campaign last season and a further defeat in the Chibuku Super Cup, Harare City, now under Taurai Mangwiro, managed to get their revenge against FC Platinum in a rescheduled Castle Lager league tie at Rufaro on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Chapungu coach John Nyikadzino who saved himself from the sack after a 1-0 win over Highlanders two weeks ago cemented his hold on the job with a home win against ZPC Kariba when the two teams clashed in re-arranged Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Ascot Stadium.
The match was called off three weeks ago due to a waterlogged Ascot.
Chapungu's win over Bosso was their first of the season and the first time they had scored in four league matches and Nyikadzino is confident they can pick up maximum points again.
