Dembare held by Harare City

Harare City 0-0 Dynamos
Chicken Inn 1-0 How Mine
Flame Lily 1-0 Triangle United
Wha Wha 2-1 FC Platinum
Dynamos played to a goalless draw against Harare City but importantly Dembare managed to avoid a defeat.
Both teams displayed atrocious football in the first half as they were both too cautious.
Mandigora made a few changes from the team that played against FC Platinum introducing Mukandi in goals.
Mwerahari played as right back while Mushure was back in the fold after an injury; this meant Mbara returned to his favourite center back position. Linyama partnered Mbara.
Dynamos ultra defensive midfield had Mukanga and Alimenda alternating as they played as double defensive midfielders. Mambare was wide left and Murwira wide right while Chitiyo was central. Nhivi was alone upfront.
The game itself was a big yarn especially in the first half with most Dynamos players not in form, Harare city also did not help matters either and with referee who looked like he had just taken a couple of puffs from a palm tree leaves cigarette.
Apart from a strong claim for a penalty by Dynamos after Mambare was hacked down by Ndlovu from behind while he was going for the kill, the first half was boring. The lesser we talk about the first half the better.
Second half was better though especially when Mandigora pulled out Mukanga for Chungwa and later Nhivi for Bulaji.
The changes meant Murwira played central in mid while Mambare and Chitiyo went wide as Dynamos assumed a diamond 4man midfield. Chungwa and Bulaji paired upfront.
The game opened up a bit and chances began to come for Dynamos. Glorious chances did fall kindly for Chungwa, Bulaji, Mushure but they found Dube unyielding.
It was not all Dynamos though as Chawapiwa was always difficult to contain wide on the left. He kept on crossing brilliant crosses that either Mukandi claimed or they found no takers in dangerous areas.
The referee again shocked everyone when he failed to book an already yellow carded Diro Nyenye for stamping onto Mambare after the ball had gone. The referee shocked everyone when he booked Kutyauripo instead of sending off the guilty part.
His madness did not end there, he pulled back play to award Dynamos a free kick instead of allowing advantage to Dynamos as Chungwa had gained possession inside the box ready to finish of the move. The actual reason for the awarding of the free kick remains a mystery.
Dynamos did finish strongly but Dube did well to save a Chungwa pile driver and later a Bulaji attempt.
